Research Summary

Qiu’s research focuses on antitumor area including antitumor antibody and peptide. Her team designed a bifunctional antitumor peptide based on its inhibition of MMP-9 activity and anti-angiogenesis. This peptide could inhibit B10F16 tumor growth in C57BL/6 mice. Further mechanism studies on this peptide are going on. They also use phage display technical to screen single chain antibodies and peptides targeting several tumor targets.Now they are working on projects targeting folate receptor alpha and PD1.
