Research Summary
Professor FENG’s research focuses on Drug Quality Research and Evaluation, using modern instrument analysis technologies, which includes biopharmaceutical analysis, enantioseparation and stereo-selective pharmacokinetics in vivo of chiral drugs, metabolomics for the study of complex systems, such as efficacy material base of traditional Chinese medicines (formula), and so on. She recently published papers entitled "Untargeted metabolomic analysis using LC–TOF/MS and LC–MS/MS for revealing metabolic alterations linked to alcohol-induced hepatic steatosis in rat serum and plasma" and "Metabolomics appro-ach to identify therapeutically potential biomarkers of the Zhi-Zi-Da-Huang decoction effect on the hepatoprotective mechanism", which develop reliable untargeted metabolomic methods based LC-TOF/MS, LC-MS/MS and NMR to explain the therapeutic mechanism of TCM formula on a comprehensive scale.
