Research Summary

Associate ProfessorHU’s research focuses on immune inflammatory response in the pathogenesis of gout, which has been considered as a kind of auto-inflammatory diseases (AIDs). Meanwhile, based on roles of NOD-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome and Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling pathways in gout, Associate ProfessorHU also investigates effects of NLRP3 and TLR4 dual inhibitors on acute gouty arthritis, as well as the action mechanism.
