Research Summary
Dr. LIN’s research focuses on the lead compound discovery and development, by the means of drug design, synthesis, molecular and structural biology. Specifically, based on the receptor structures provided by NMR or X ray, innovative compounds are designed by computer-aided drug design. After synthesis, the biological activities and interactions between drugs and receptors are examined by molecular and structural biology methods. Primarily driven bytrial and error, novel drugs are patented. Recently Dr. LIN eyes on the diseases caused by multi-drug resistant.
