Research Summary

Dr. Yang’s research focused on developing modern analytical strategies to analyze the chemical composition, pharmacokinetics of traditional Chinese medicine and natural products, including comprehensive two-dimensional chromatography, supercritical fluid chromatography or ultra-high performance liquid chromatography couple with mass spectrometry, etc. In addition, Dr. Yang also interested in the discovery of bioactive components from traditional Chinese medicine, and revealing their mechanism through molecular biology and system biology methods. Her researches have been successfully applied to the quality control and therapeutic of Salvia miltiorrhiza, Ginkgo biloba, Aconitum carmichaeli, etc.
