Research Summary

Associate Professor Ju’s research focuses on the innovative functional materials and targeted nanosystems for drug delivery. She recently published a paper entitled "Sequential Intra-Intercellular Nanoparticle Delivery System for Deep Tumor Penetration," which constructed a reversible swelling-shrinking nanogel in response to pH variation for a sequentialintra-intercellular NP delivery.Basedon this intra-intercellular delivery mechanism, the nanogelshelped the drugs penetrate deep into the solid tumor forenhanced therapeutic efficacy. This strategywill provide opportunities to explore more intelligent drugdelivery nanoplatforms for deep tumor penetration in future.
