First International High School Principals Forum Held at CPU

April 11, 2018: More than 50 high school principals and representatives from 10 countries gathered in Jiangning Campus, China Pharmaceutical University (hereafter "CPU") to discuss international student recruitment issues. This forum was also attended by Professor Tao LU the vice president of CPU and Professor Xiaoyuan XU the Director of CPU Office of International Exchange and Cooperation.

“CPU has always been an outstanding university seeking for international cooperation and communication and has several globally top-ranked disciplines.” In the opening ceremony, Prof. LU expressed his welcome and showed expectations to enhance international cooperation through this forum and attract more qualified international students for multi-cultural education.

Prof. XU gave a detailed introduction of the university history, key disciplines, achievements in teaching and research, international exchange, international student education, admission policies and scholarships, etc. She hopes that the forum will make a platform for communication to deepen mutual understandings and promote diversified cooperation; meanwhile, CPU will surely offer support for participant institutions in teacher training, students cultivation and intercultural communication.

During the forum, four principals from Mongolia Development Bridge School, Laboratory school number 23, Moroccan CENTRE D ORIENTATION PEDAGOGIQUE UNIVERSITE and Badr School gave speeches to introduce the educational systems of their countries and expressed gratitude to the warm welcome they received. They also provided important information about their high school students and prospects for learning Chinese and studying in China. Preliminary cooperation intentions to launch short-term programs and to build student recruitment bases were achieved between schools in Mongolia, Indonesia and CPU.

During the forum, principals and representatives visited CPU Pharmaceutical Museum, GMP Training Center and Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plants. They all praised the beauty and the advanced facilities of the campus and decided to actively advertise CPU so as to promote more profound intercultural communications.
