  • Chen Guitang, Professor and PhD Supervisor, specializes in researching the pharmacological activities and health-promoting mechanisms of bioactive substances found in food and medicinal food homology materials, particularly the relationship between functional components and chronic diseases in humans. Leveraging advanced physical, chemical, and biological technologies, he delves into the efficient separation and enrichment, activity preservation, and potency enhancement of functional components, providing a diverse range of functional factors for the development of pharmaceuticals and health foods. Professor Chen has published over 100 research papers in domestic and international journals, and holds over 10 authorized patents.
