  • Chen Siyu, Deputy Director of the Department of Biochemistry at the School of Life Sciences and Technology, China Pharmaceutical University, is a professor, doctoral supervisor, and Chief Young Scientist of the National Key Research and Development Program. His main focus is on the research of Target Discovery and Intervention Strategies for NAFLD. In this direction, the applicant has published 18 papers as the first/corresponding author (including co authorship) in international mainstream academic journals such as Adv Sci, Nat Commun, Gut Microbes, etc., with nearly a thousand citations, and has been granted 1 national patent and applied for 6 patents; Hosted 8 projects including the National Key R&D Program for Young Scientists, the National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scientists, and the Jiangsu Province Excellent Youth Fund; He is a young member of the Metabolism Committee of the Chinese Society of Biochemistry, a director of the Jiangsu Society of Developmental Biology, a young editorial board member of the Journal of China Pharmaceutical University and Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics, a guest editor of Front Endocrinol, and has reviewed for top international journals such as J Hepatol and ACS Nano multiple times; Has won an excellent doctoral thesis in Jiangsu Province.
