Dr. Prof. Jian Gao joined the faculty at China Pharmaceutical University as an assistant professor in 2012 and was promoted to be an associate professor in 2022. During 2017 and 2018, he spent one year for cooperative research on transition metal catalysis and photoredox catalysis as a visiting scholar under the direction of Prof. Chaojun Li at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. His research interests include: (1) Photo-induced and controllable generation and chemical transformation free radicals. (2) Green organic synthesis. (3) Synthesis process development and optimization.
