She received high evaluation from the students of her class due to her good command of English, and responsibility as well as competence in teaching.

Though Ms. Hu has consistently exceeded in the areas of her teaching work, the best example of her intelligence shone through the Reform in Hierarchical Teaching of College English. The work clearly showed her ability to be an excellent team organizer. And she has presented concise and well-thought designs with a new perspective of combining the teaching of College English with the teaching of Pharmaceutical English. To help students better understand the source of traditional Chinese medicine culture and inherit Chinese culture, and tell Chinese stories in English, she spent nearly eight years studying traditional Chinese medicine culture, and finally designed an introductory course for pharmaceutical students to study Yellow Emperor's Canon of Medicine.
