  • Dr. Jiang is a promising scholar in applied linguistics, specializing in terminology and metaphor translation, as well as the translation studies of ancient literary theories. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Literature from Nanjing University and a B.A. from Soochow University. She has furthered her academic career as a visiting scholar at the University of Manchester, sponsored by the China Scholarship Council.

    Dr. Jiang has published extensively in top-tier journals, including Terminology and Foreign Languages in China, and authored the academic monograph Research on the Translation of Metaphorical Terms from an Interdisciplinary Rhetorical Perspective. In addition, she has translated several literary and academic words, including Oliver Twist and Handbook of Terminology.

    Her research projects, funded by various prestigious institutions, focus on the cognitive and rhetorical aspects of terminology translation. Dr. Jiang has also been recognized for her excellence in teaching, receiving multiple awards at both provincial and university levels. She is currently preparing a textbook, Writing with Impact: A Practical Approach to English Rhetoric, set to be published by Nanjing University Press in 2024.
