  • Dr. Liu Lu is an Associate Professor at the School of Foreign Languages, China Pharmaceutical University. She received her Ph.D. in English Language and Literature from Nanjing University. Dr. Liu’s academic interest lies in British and American literary studies, with a particular focus on contemporary American fiction as well as the intersection of literature and medicine. She teaches a variety of courses including Introduction to Literature, British Literature, American Literature, English Drama and Academic Writing.

     

    Dr. Liu was also a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Scholar, spending a year in the United States. She has published 11 academic papers in journals such as Contemporary Foreign Literature and New Perspectives on World Literature. In addition to her scholarly work, Dr. Liu has translated several books, including works in the Oxford Very Short Introductions series, published by Yilin Press.
