Dr. Xiaoxuan Liu received her Ph.D degree in Organic Chemistry in 2010 from Wuhan University and Aix-Marseille University. Thereafter she got her postdoctoral training at Centre Interdisciplinaire de Nanoscience de Marseille (CINaM) and Center of Research in Cancerology of Marseille (CRCM) in France. Dr. Xiaoxuan Liu was selected as Specially-Appointed Professors of Jiangsu Province in 2015, and the National Youth Talent of China in 2016. She is holding Full Professor position currently at the Center of Advanced Pharmaceuticals and Biomaterials in China Pharmaceutical University. Her research interest focuses on developing novel dendrimer based nanosystems as on-demand delivery platforms for nucleic acid therapeutics for precision medicine. Originated from these research results, Dr. Liu has published more than 50 research articles and book chapters in peer-reviewed journals, including PNAS, Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. In. Ed., Adv. Funct. Mater, Small, J Control Release, and etc. Additionally, served as PI or co-PI, she has participated in 10 National projects, Talent Projects and International Cooperation Projects. She is currently a committee member of the Biophysical Society of China, a member of editorial board of Journal of China Pharmaceutical University and Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences. 1. “Cargo-selective and adaptive delivery of nucleic acid therapeutics by bola-amphiphilic dendrimers” – Published in Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A, 2023 2. “A biodegradable amphiphilic poly(aminoester) dendrimer for safe and effective siRNA delivery” – Published in Chem.
