Liuyi

Yi Liu, PhD in English Language and Literature, Associate Professor, has been supervising graduation theses for English majors since 2010. He was also a visiting scholar at Georgia Southern University in the United States under the Sino-American Fulbright FLTA Program. His research Interests are focused on Translation Studies and Interdisciplinary Research, English Translation of Chinese Classics, Corpus-Based Translation Studies, Techno-Humanities and Medical Translation 

He has published over 20 papers in CSSCI and other core journals, including Chinese Translators Journal, Journal of PLA University of Foreign Languages, The Translator’s Journal, Studies of Ethnic Literature, Research on the English Translation of Chinese Classics (Volume 8), and Corpus and Intercultural Studies, etc. He has also participated in the writing of one monograph.

He won the first prize in the Jiangsu Provincial Finals of the 2017 “SFLEP Cup” National College Foreign Language Teaching Contest and was honored as an “Outstanding Communist Party Member” at China Pharmaceutical University.
