  • I have long been engaged in the establishment and application of drug screening models, particularly in the screening of anti-inflammatory activities of natural products, as well as the study of the regulatory mechanisms of physiological barrier functions (such as the blood-testis barrier and renal filtration barrier). In recent years, I have conducted screenings for anti-inflammatory active components in natural products such as Tripterygium wilfordii, Dendrobium officinale, Ainsliaea fragrans Champ., and Baeckea frutescens L., and published 45 SCI-indexed research papers on their therapeutic applications for conditions like diabetic nephropathy, gout, rheumatoid arthritis, and primary dysmenorrhea. I have also been granted 14 patents in China. Collaborating with Jiangsu Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, I have been involved in the secondary development of traditional Chinese medicine formulas for controlling proteinuria in diabetic nephropathy and researching the related molecular regulatory mechanisms.
