  • Dr. Zhong is a leading expert in pharmaceutical analysis at China Pharmaceutical University and a recipient of the Outstanding Backbone Teacher Award from the Jiangsu Qinglan Project. She earned her Ph.D. from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Nanjing University and served as a visiting scholar at Brandeis University, USA. Dr. Zhong has led and contributed to over 10 significant projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, the New Drug Creation major project, Jiangsu Province’s Six Talent Peaks, and the Jiangsu Province Natural Science Foundation. Her primary research areas include: (1) innovative hydrogel materials and their applications in drug delivery, integrated diagnosis, and treatment; (2) drug quality control; and (3) the development and evaluation of functional cosmetics. She has authored over 80 research papers in prestigious journals such as Advanced Functional Materials, Small, Acta Biomaterialia, and Analytical Chemistry.
