Doctor Zhang is an excellent associate professor of foreign linguistics and applied linguistics from China Pharmaceutical University with her doctoral dissertation titled “The Analysis of Lotman’s poetic semiotics”, which is a preliminary attempt at exploring the language analysis of poetry and Russian language and literature Studies.
Besides teaching college English, she has done a lot of research in lexicography and lexicology and her major research interests include world literature and comparative literature, bilingual comparison as well as English (academic) vocabulary teaching.
Currently, she is hosting a research project on how to improve English vocabulary teaching and learning for Chinese college students who study English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
