Research Summary

Research in LIN’s lab seeks to bring the power of modern synthetic organic chemistry to bear on problems in biology and medicine. The main focus of his research involves synthesis of organic molecules that are biologically interesting. Subsequent mode of action studies of these molecules would provide opportunities for biological insights. He recently published a paper entitled “Solvent-Controlled Switchable C−H Alkenylation of 4 Aryl 1H pyrrole-3-carboxylates: Application to the Total Synthesis of (±)-Rhazinilam”.
