In recent years, it has been vigorously promoting internationalization, and in 2023, it took the lead in establishing the Global Pharmaceutical Development Alliance (GPDA), which aims to gather global pharmaceutical wisdom and seek common development of biomedicine. The University of Manchester is the first batch of British universities to have responded to the alliance. It is hoped that through this visit, we will further deepen the cooperative relationship and try to explore new paths to realize all-round, multi-dimensional, and deep-level cooperation and exchange.
Prof. Allan Pacey, Vice President of UMass and Dean of Biomedical Health, delivered a welcome speech. He said that China Pharmaceutical University has become one of the most important partners of UMass. The two sides have established a good foundation for cooperation, and the next step is to expand the cooperation to a deeper level of scientific research cooperation and cultivate higher-level talents.
