On the afternoon of September 15, 2025, the International Education College of China Pharmaceutical University held a welcome meeting for international freshmen and the opening ceremony of the Freshmen Quality Development Camp in Classroom G11-106 at the Jiangning Campus. The vice dean of the International Education College attended the ceremony and delivered a welcome speech, while staff from various departments of the college participated and interacted with the new students.
In his speech, the vice dean extended a warm welcome to the new international students from around the world. He encouraged them to quickly adapt to the new environment, integrate into campus life, cherish their time at school, and strive to become pharmacology talents with an international perspective and professional expertise.
Subsequently, staff members from various departments of the International Education College provided introductions and functional explanations on student management, academic administration, visa services, cultural activities, and other aspects of work. This helps new students clearly understand the learning and life support system, laying a foundation for a smooth start to their studies and life in China.
The orientation camp for new students lasts five days and covers various aspects such as academic adaptation, academic guidance, cultural experiences, and safety and health education. Activities include campus tours, on-site visits to pharmaceutical companies and hospitals, academic planning guidance, mentor meetings, mental health workshops, traditional Chinese culture experiences (focused on the Mid-Autumn Festival), lectures on immigration regulations and anti-fraud measures, as well as public health and campus safety training. The program design is closely tailored to the practical needs of international students, aiming to comprehensively enhance their overall competence and cross-cultural adaptability.
