Ding Jinxi,Vice Chancellor of China Pharmaceutical University

Ding Jinxi, born in July 1971, holds a Doctorate in Management. He is a Level II Professor, doctoral supervisor, and Secretary-General of the National Professional Degree Education Steering Committee for Pharmacy.

He previously served as Vice Dean of the International Business School of Pharmacy at China Pharmaceutical University and Executive Vice Dean of the Graduate School. Since August 2025, he has been a Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Pharmaceutical University.

His research focuses on healthcare management, pharmaceutical market access, and pharmacoeconomic evaluation. In recent years, he has led over 100 research projects, including 2 National Social Science Fund projects, 6 projects from the State Council Medical Reform Office, 21 projects from the National Healthcare Security Administration, 18 projects from the National Health Commission, 6 projects from the National Medical Products Administration, and 5 projects from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. He has published 5 monographs and over 200 papers, including 7 SCI-indexed articles.

In 2008, he was commended by the State Council for significant contributions to the formulation of the National Intellectual Property Strategy. In 2009, he was honored as a Jiangsu Province New Long March Vanguard for outstanding teaching and research achievements. In 2012, he was recognized as a Young and Middle-aged Academic Leader under the Jiangsu Province Qinglan Project. In 2016, he was selected as a High-Level Talent under the Jiangsu Province 333 Project. In 2019, he was named one of China's Most Notable Healthcare Reform Experts. In 2023, he attended the State Council's New Medical Reform Expert Symposium and was received by Vice Premier Liu Guozhong. In 2024, he received the First Prize in the National Medical Insurance Bureau's Outstanding Research Project Selection.

He is responsible for graduate education and teaching. He oversees the Graduate School. He assists in overseeing development planning, discipline construction, think tanks, the Modern Pharmaceutical Industry College, and the Biomedical Excellence Engineer College. He liaises with the School of Life Sciences and Technology.
