Shyy (John Y-J) received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, in 1979, and his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Ohio State University, USA, in 1987. He was a postdoctoral fellow in the Cardiovascular Laboratory of the same university from 1991 to 1991, worked as a bioengineer and research scientist at the University of California, San Diego from 1991 to 1999, and was appointed as an associate professor of biomedical sciences at the University of California, Riverside in 1999, and was promoted to professor in 2004. In 2011, he was appointed to the Cardiovascular Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University School of Medicine as a selected candidate under the National High-level Talent Program, and in 2013, he was appointed to the University of California, San Diego as a full professor in the Department of Medicine. He has been working on cardiovascular biology for more than 20 years, specializing in the regulation of vascular shear force on vascular endothelial cell function and homeostasis. He has published more than 100 papers in international journals, including JCI, PNAS, Circulation, Circulation Research, etc., with more than 15,000 citations. Prof. Yun-Zhong Shi has been invited to lecture at international academic conferences in the United States, Japan, China, Taiwan, and other countries and regions. Prof. Shi has served as a long-time NIH and AHA grant reviewer. He has been an invited reviewer for many prestigious journals, including Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology, Circulation Research, Circulation, etc. He has received many awards from the American Heart Association for his work in cardiology. He has received various awards from the American Heart Association.

Prof. Feng Chen is the Secretary of the Party Committee of School of Basic Medical Sciences, Nanjing Medical University. He is the recipient of National High-level Talent Program, National High-level Young Talent Program, Jiangsu Jieqing, Jiangsu Advanced Individual Award for Overseas Returned Scholars, Jiangsu Shuangchuang Team Leader, Jiangsu Excellent Teaching Team Leader under the “Green and Blue Project” of Jiangsu Universities, Jiangsu Distinguished Professor, and has been awarded with 20 awards and honors at the provincial and ministerial levels and above. He has received nearly 20 awards and honors at the provincial and ministerial levels and above. He is an expert in medical malpractice appraisal of the Chinese Medical Association, an expert in judicial appraisal of the whole country, and a deputy director of the Forensic Pathology Committee of the Chinese Society of Forensic Science. He has been awarded more than 10 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial funds. He has long been engaged in the research of the pathogenesis and forensic pathology of pulmonary hypertension, and has published more than 130 academic papers in Circulation, Am J Respir Crit Care Med, Mol Cell, Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, Hypertension, ATVB, etc. He has been selected as one of the top 2% of the world's top medical experts in the year 2023, and has been recognized as one of the top 2% of the world's top medical experts. “He has been selected as one of the top 2% scientists in the world in 2023; he has been granted 10 national invention patents; he has participated in the preparation of 3 industry standards and local standards, and 10 professional teaching materials.

Dr. Hui Shen, M.D., M.S., Visiting Scholar of UCSD, member of Core Management Team of Department of Cardiology, Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University. She is a member of the core management group of the Department of Cardiology of Yangzhou University Hospital. She has presided over 3 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, and participated in 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 10 academic papers in SCI journals including Circ, Circ Res, PNAS and so on. He has been awarded the Jiangsu Provincial Association for Science and Technology Youth Science and Technology Supporting Talent Project (2023), Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Doctoral Dissertation (2022), Yangzhou Green Yang Jinfeng Talent Program (2021), Yangzhou University High-end Talent Program Reporter, Yangzhou University Hospital Research Star (2021), etc. He has been awarded with the honor to be the best researcher of Yangzhou University.
