Prof. Zheng Songguo, Chair Professor of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Director of the Institute of Cellular Gene Therapy, Core Member of National Key Laboratory, Chief of National Key R&D, Overseas High-Level Talent, Chairman of Songjiang Science and Technology Association. Consecutively selected as one of the top international scientists and listed in the Global Lifetime Academic Influence. Fellow of Henry Kankel Society. Fellow of Henry Kankel Society. D. from France and a postdoctoral fellowship from the USA. He has been an Assistant Professor at Fudan University, an Assistant Associate Professor at the University of Southern California, Tenured Full Professor/Director at Pennsylvania State University, and Tenured Professor/Director of the Reynolds-Weisler Chair at Ohio State University. He has served as the leader of the NIH R01 grant review panel for rheumatic skin diseases, chairman or vice chairman of the board of directors of several international scientific organizations, and editorial board member of several Region I journals. He has published more than 230 papers with 20,000 citations and an H-index of 80. He has edited four English medical monographs. Mr. Zheng is also partly responsible for the National CDE Standards and Guidelines for the Preparation of Regulatory T-cell Technology. Prof. Zheng is an international leading expert in the field of rheumatology, immunity, allergy, and inflammatory diseases. He is the main discoverer and founder of inducible regulatory T cells and one of the international pioneers in the field of gingival stem cells.
