“Industry and Education Integration Center for International Students”
To further serve the construction of the "Health Silk Road," implement the "One Belt One Road" initiative, and boost the "Going Out" of Traditional Chinese Medicine and famous pharmaceutical enterprises, China Pharmaceutical University (hereinafter referred to as CPU) and Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group (hereinafter referred to as YRPG) held the signing ceremony of the "Internationalization Strategic Cooperation Agreement" and the inauguration ceremony of the "Industry and Education Integration Center for International Students" at YRPG in Taizhou City on November 7. Vice President of CPU, Professor Kong Lingyi, Mr. Ding Zhiqiang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Working Committee and Director of Management Committee of Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Acting Chief Executive of Gaogang District, and Mr. Xu Haoyu, Chairman of YRPG, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.
Vice President Kong Lingyi pointed out in his speech that the university has always advocated and encouraged the open-up development direction, closely combined with the resource advantages of countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" and the needs of Chinese medicine and famous pharmaceutical enterprises "Going Out." The university has been promoting cooperation with famous domestic pharmaceutical enterprises for international student cultivation and, the integration between industry and education, as well as between science and education. The university has been combining the functions of international talents education, international students training, and internship, and serving science and technology innovation to ensure the cohesion of the education, training, innovation, and industry. At the same time, we expect to take the signing of the strategic agreement and the establishment of the Industry and Education Integration Center as an opportunity for the university and enterprises to work together to expand international scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation and contribute to the opening up of China's pharmacy education, the construction of the "Health Silk Road" and the construction of the human health community.
In the presence of the participants, Vice President Kong Lingyi and Chairman Xu Haoyu signed the "Internationalization Strategic Cooperation Agreement." They inaugurated the "Industry and Education Integration Center" with the Director Ding Zhiqiang.
At the inauguration ceremony, HASSAN TAHA REHAM ELFADIL, a representative of international students, gave a sharing speech and expressed her appreciation to CPU and YRPG for providing international students a platform to have an in-depth internship and practical training in pharmaceutical enterprises and perceived the flourishing development of Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises. She expressed that she would cherish the valuable learning and practice opportunities, continuously improve her scientific research and practical skills, and at the same time play the role of a bridge connecting Chinese and foreign cultural and scientific exchanges and cooperation, and be a good communicator of the Chinese story.
During the event, the representatives of international students visited the headquarters plant of YRPG, the exhibition hall of Longfeng Tang, and the Yangtze River Academy.
